The Rowdy Rods

Previously I've mentioned the... bond that Greg and Hunter shared. They would lovingly practice new ways to high-five. Creativity. Sensitivity. Vulnerability. Greg and Hunter embraced these qualities as the Rowdy Rods. They finished each other's sentences. They'd have completely nonsensical e-mail conversations. It was very entertaining to see what the two of them would do next. And they'd always surprise me!

Going to be Late for Work; Godzilla on 270!

There was a period of time where Hunter was late for work a few times. Most people just say they over slept, but Hunter is unlike most people. You see, he wasn't late because his alarm didn't go off or anything so mundane. No. He was late because Godzilla had been dropped on the Columbus outer belt! A few days after that he had to ride his giant spider to work to get through the mess.

AAAAAH!

When your tummy growls
and you're on the prowl,
put down the other guy's
and reach for some Hunterpies!
I've been meaning to put this picture up for a while now. But I just couldn't justify a weekly post with this one fantastic picture. See, we were cutting something on our snazzy new flatbed automated cutting table and it was leaving some awesome circles. Just the right size to fit over your eyeballs! So we doodled some chucklesome pupils on them and tried them out. If only we'd had a meeting and we all could have pretended to pay attention...

Happy New Year

Now that the naughty are finished hiding from Krampus it's time to start with the art posting! This particular drawing was one of many silly little doodles I've done based on the people around me. The original drawings were mostly done in ball point pen and put up on our map of Ohio for passersby to see.
These two affectionate fellows are Greg (left) and Hunter (right). Hunter and Greg have a unique relationship. Though superficially very different they will be man-mates forever. You ever have two straight friends that wouldn't be the least bit embarrassed to fall asleep in one another's arms? Yeah, me neither. They should just stop pretending. Anyway, Hunter and Greg were inspired by a video of two guys high-fiving in numerous and entertaining ways. So inspired, in fact, that they adopted this hobby. Hobby? Nay! Dare I call it a lifestyle? So every day they'd waste multitudes of minutes creating new high fives. Each one bringing them closer together, both emotionally and physically. And so I present the High Fives.
